Ryan Weidenfeld 🇺🇸
Born and raised in South Florida, Ryan began playing drums at age 6. Starting with private lessons, he went on to be accepted into the music program at School Of The Arts where he majored in percussion; studying concert band, orchestra, and jazz until his graduation.
At age 13, Ryan formed a band with fellow students, going on to open for No Doubt, Less Than Jake, Live, and 3 Doors Down. He went on to join popular local band B-liminal, opening for Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Micheal Franti, Sister Hazel, and many more. After this local success, Ryan moved to Nashville going on countless tours and opening for artists Wynona Judd, Hank Williams Jr., Big and Rich, Thomas Rhett, and many many more.
Passionate about music, Ryan has been teaching drums across south Florida and Nashville for the past 10 years. Having worked with students of all ages and skill levels, Ryan has the experience and patience to help anyone learn. These days you can see Ryan playing south Florida venues with The Latitudes!
Ryan's setup includes a Sonique Drums 5" x 14" North American Cherry snare with the NATO-1 throw off.

Steam-bent red oak snare with a low fundamental pitch. Each shell is hand-rubbed with two coats of pure tung oil over a two week curing period before being sprayed with three coats of a long-lasting & UV resistant polyurethane satin finish.
