Isabella Croce, also known as “splendi” in creative circles, is a professional drummer for-hire with over 15 years of experience across live performance, touring, and studio recording. Known for adaptability and versatility across genres - including pop, rock, indie, and more. Isabella is a highly sought-after musician for both stage and studio work. This has led her on tours across the country, as well as multiple international tours, working with a diverse range of artists. Always bringing authenticity and musicality to every gig, she values connection, creativity, and the community that music creates.

Her love for music started at an early age as she heard a wide variety of different genres and styles of music in her home. She began her drumming career at the age of 8 when she joined her school’s band, and later began taking drum lessons at a School of Rock. She performed in dozens of shows at the School of Rock over the years, started a band and played live local shows, and was also a member of her school’s drum-line playing snare drum in the marching band. In college, Isabella attended Temple University in Philadelphia to study music with a focus on percussion. After graduating, she began playing more local shows around Philadelphia, joined her first national tour shortly after, and has been drumming on a professional level ever since as a hired gun. She now primarily gigs around New York, Philadelphia, other east-coast cities, as well as internationally.

While in college, Isabella launched an alternative/pop solo side-project, where she released her own original music under the name, “splendi”. Her debut single “unoriginal” amassed significant attention on social media platforms before it was released. On release day, “unoriginal” was featured on major editorial playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, and more such as “New Music Friday”, “Lorem”, “Fresh Finds Indie”, “All New Indie”, and more. She also played numerous live shows, put out three music videos (one of which was fully animated), was interviewed on podcasts, and landed radio play nationally and abroad. The project had a short, but very sweet run as Isabella stopped working on the project to pursue drumming as her sole focus.

Isabella has most recently performed for alternative/indie artist, Hannah Jadagu on the Gigi Perez “At The Beach In Every Life” North-American tour, as well as a headlining tour across Europe. Isabella has also performed shows opening for artists such as Djo, The Driver Era, Neon Trees, Waka Flocka Flame, and more. She has also played drums for Top 40 charting blues/pop artist, KELS for over three years - contributing to live shows on multiple tours, as well as being featured in notable live video performances for Vevo. Isabella has been a part of many other tours, nationally and internationally, and continues playing local shows in NYC and Philadelphia to continue contributing to her local music scenes. Isabella is looking forward to continued shows, tours, and studio sessions, with a rapidly expanding list of artists and musicians that she is grateful to connect and build a community with.
