Solid Shell Construction

  • Every snare shell is constructed of a single piece of wood that is steam-bent.
  • Each shell is backed by a lifetime warranty for defects in craftsmanship.
  • Every drum is one-of-a-kind due to the natural variation in wood species.

Simplified Unibody Lug

  • A simple but elegant unibody lug eliminates all moving parts found in modern lugs today (springs, swivel nuts, etc) that will break down over time and create unwanted rattling.
  • Unique lug backing plate to control torque loads under high tension.

Machined Tension Rods

  • Our tension rods are made from either stainless steel or a custom bronze alloy making them incredibly strong and able to endure the test of time.
  • Machined from solid materials and never plated or cast from cheaper alloys.

Thoughtful Hardware Design

  • All hardware is comprised of a custom solid brass alloy that is protected with multiple coats of lacquer, 7076 aluminum, or stainless steel.
  • All hardware made to fit the natural curvature of the shell.
