YOUR SNARE. YOUR SOUND.

The guessing is over. We collected the frequency spectrum data so you don't have to guess. Each drum is individually checked for pitch/frequency and marked inside the shell and each wood species is cataloged into its main pitch group.

LOW

Tone woods with a fundamental pitch of 105 Hz - 130 Hz.

We use a 6.35mm (.250") solid steam-bent shell for snares and toms for optimal balance of resonance and sustain using Walnut, Figured Cherry, and some Maple grains. Each drum is built to order.

MID

Tone woods with a fundamental pitch of 130 Hz - 140 Hz.

We use a 6.35mm (.250") solid steam-bent shell for snares and toms for optimal balance of resonance and sustain using American Birch, Beech, Red Gum, or Cherry. Each drum is built to order.

HIGH

Tone woods with a fundamental pitch of 140 Hz - 150+ Hz.

We use a 6.35mm (.250") solid steam-bent shell for snares and toms for optimal balance of resonance and sustain using Red Gum, Birch, Rosewood, and some Maple grains. Each drum is built to order.
